Interested in large whales? The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group is delighted to announce Whale Tales Cork. The day’s event will comprise presentations, stories and discussions on humpback and other whale species that are returning each year to West Cork waters in increasing numbers. This event will provide an opportunity for the IWDG to share its finding with those citizen scientists who have supported our work over the past 20 years. The event will bring together citizen scientists, researchers, commercial operators and whale watchers, to share wonderful stories and experiences, as well as looking forward to the next 20 years, to see what challenging times might be ahead for our visiting giants.
