The Tour de Beara is held annually on the second Saturday of September and is a beloved event for thousands of cyclists who follow the old Cork Rebel Tour Route. All funds raised from the event support local charities and organizations along the Beara peninsula. With over 2,600 meters of climbing, this sportive is a true test of strength and endurance.

The route starts in Glengarriff, takes you over the Caha Pass, and through a series of hand-hewn rock tunnels into the Kingdom of Kerry. Continue on to Kenmare and back around the Beara peninsula, taking in the breathtaking views along the way.
