WILD ATLANTIC MIZEN CYCLE - 8 JULY 2023

Join the adventure and witness the breathtaking beauty of West Cork with the Wild Atlantic Mizen Cycle, previously known as the West Cork Emergency Services & Friends Charity Cycle. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, and will be based in Bantry, West Cork.

With three different routes available, participants can choose between a 65k, 100k, or 130k cycling adventure, all starting and finishing in Bantry. Don't miss out on this chance to experience the stunning scenery of West Cork as you cycle along the Wild Atlantic Way around the Mizen and Sheep's Head Peninsulas. This charity cycle has been running for 19 years, and has already raised over €562,000 for local West Cork Charities. So not only will you be experiencing the natural beauty of West Cork, but you will also be contributing to a good cause.

Sign-on will take place on Friday evening, July 7th, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, as well as on Saturday morning, July 8th, from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The cycle will officially start at 9:00 am, but participants are welcome to start earlier. However, it's important to note that support vehicles, marshalls, and food stops will only be available from the official starting time.

To keep you fueled and hydrated throughout the journey, there will be water-stops and food-stops available en route. In case of any repairs or breakdowns, a repair/breakdown service will also be available on the day. However, it's recommended that you have your bike serviced beforehand to avoid any unwanted mishaps.
