Ahakista Festival August Bank Holiday Weekend 4th to the 7th 2023

The Ahakista Festival is an annual event that takes place in the village of Ahakista in West Cork, Ireland. The festival is usually held in the summer and it features a range of events and activities for people of all ages.

One of the festival's most popular events is the Graham Norton Quiz Night, which will kick off the festival on Friday, 4th August. Graham Norton himself has put the date in his diary once again, and tickets for the event will go on sale on Saturday, 27th May at 9 am. The price for a table of 4 people is €180, and all proceeds will go towards the Ahakista Community's Building Fund. This fund aims to build a much-needed permanent community centre for the village.

In addition to the quiz night, the festival features a range of other events and activities, including live music performances, dance workshops, art exhibitions, food stalls, and a range of family-friendly activities such as face painting and storytelling sessions.

Visitors can also take part in outdoor activities such as hillwalking, cycling, and fishing. Guided walks and cycling tours of the local area are available, as well as fishing trips on nearby rivers and lakes.

The Ahakista Festival is a fun-filled event that celebrates the local community and the beautiful natural surroundings of West Cork. It's a great opportunity to support the community while enjoying a memorable time with friends or family. See you there!
