The Tour de Beara is held annually on the second Saturday of September and is a beloved event for thousands of cyclists. All funds raised from the event support local charities and organizations along the Beara peninsula. With over 2,600 meters of climbing, this sportive is a true test of strength and endurance.
The circular route begins in Glengarriff, takes you over the challenging Caha Pass, and through a series of hand-hewn rock tunnels into the Kingdom of Kerry. Continue on to Kenmare and back around the Beara peninsula, taking in the breathtaking views along the way.
