Skibbereen Walking Festival Weekend is held annually on the last weekend of September and features guided walks through quiet country roads with some off-road sections – something for walkers of all abilities.
Please note that pre-registering is essential. No unaccompanied children. Sorry, no dogs allowed on the walks.
Now in it's 7th year, Skibbereen & District Chamber of Commerce Walking Festival Weekend runs over the last weekend of September. They are offering guided walks through quiet country roads with some off-road sections with something for walkers of all abilities.
Meeting point for all walks, except walk 7, is Skibbereen Heritage Centre with bus transport provided to and
from out-of-town walks.
Fee €12/walk including bus and complimentary tea/coffee/refreshment for all walks, except walk 2 to Cape Clear €25 (including ferry), plus additional €20 for optional Fastnet trip, walk 6 €20 for the Gormu Toe Head Historical Walk and walks 7 and 8 are free of charge. Pre-registering is essential.
